Configuring a Remote Unit Input

1. Open the Remote Unit Configuration application.
2. In the Available Remote Units list, select the Remote Unit with the input you want to configure.
   Use the Search Engine utility to find a particular Remote Unit or group of related Remote Units
3. Click the Edit Icon.
   The View Remote Unit dialog box appears.
4. Click the Relay Information tab.
5. In the Relay list, select the Relay you wish to configure.
6. Click Configure.
   The Input Description dialog box appears.
7. If you wish to configure:
   • Information about meter size and type, or the data configuration click the Input Definition tab.
   • Data validation (limit checking), click the Feasibility Checking tab.
   • The units of measure that the meter input is monitoring, click the Units tab.
8. When you are finished configuring the selected input, click OK.
   The Input Description tab appears.
9. Click OK.
