Setting Up the Default Remote Unit Information


The default Remote Unit information is displayed when you add a Remote Unit to the system. Typically, your Remote Units will have similar information; therefore, creating a default "template" of information provides you with an easy way to add one or more Remote Units to the system. When adding a Remote unit, you can override the default information and modify it to accommodate your needs.

To set up the default Remote Unit information:
  1. On the File menu, select Preferences.
    The Preferences tabs appear.
  2. Click the Remote Unit Defaults tab.
  3. Enter the default Remote Unit information in the appropriate boxes.
